Urth 16 Fingering is named for its extrafine 16 micron Merino wool base with exceptional softness and luxurious quality. Fingering weight, about 4ply, is well suited for accessories, lace, colorwork and lightweight garments. Hand dyed in Turkey.
Some hand dyed yarns may experience slight colour bleeding when dampened for blocking. For strong colours, test for bleeding before winding the skein, and if needed cold water rinse the skein and allow to dry before winding and knitting. Check the Urth Yarns website for instructions.
